Taxi by John Seward Johnson Jr
Yards from Unilever's global headquarters on Victoria Embankment, formerly Bridewell Palace, is a bronze statue of a suited gentleman hailing a taxi.
He's been hailing in the cycle lane near one of King Henry VIII's home since 2013.
Originally situated in New York, in colour, on the corner of 47th and Park.
Today, the city worker, with overcoat and satchel, hails a cab on John Carpenter Street looking towards of the River Thames (River Isis).
Its sculptor is John Seward Johnson Junior (Jr).
John Seward Johnson Jr is the grandson of Robert Wood Johnson, who co-founded Johnson & Johnson, along with his two brothers; James Wood Johnson and Edward Mead Johnson.

Jr would be excluded from his father's will, who left the bulk of his $340 million fortune to Barbara Piasecka Johnson, his second wife, his former chambermaid Esther Underwood Johnson.
Along with his siblings, they sued on grounds that their father was not mentally competent at the time he signed the will. It was settled out of court.

John Seward Johnson Jr is also first cousins with film-star Michael Douglas (highlighted yellow) through his mother Ruth and her sister Diana Dill. Diana married legendary Hollywood actor Kirk Douglas (real name Issur Danielovitch) who played the lead male role of Spartacus and large screen classics.
Current Day
He later married novelist Joyce Horton. They had two children, John Seward Johnson III who is Co-founder of Buzzfeed and actress Clelia Constance Johnson, who goes by the stage name - India Blake.
John Seward Johnson Jr died several years ago from cancer in Key West, Florida aged 89 on 10th March 2020.
